Did you check what kind of source the conference paper was published in? You have to adjust how you cite the conference paper according to which type of source it is published in. If it’s been published in a book with an editor, you need to follow the instructures for how to cite a chapter in a book with an editor. If the conference paper is published in a scientific journal, you have to follow the instructions for articles in journals.
If you only find the abstract of a conference paper, you need to add square brackets after the title.
